The $340,000 1.60m FEI 5* Grand Prix is one of the premier show jumping competitions held at the Desert International Horse Park during its Desert Holiday 2 leg (part of the winter horse show season in Thermal, California). This class is a FEI (International Equestrian Federation) 5* level Grand Prix - the highest tier of international show jumping - featuring top professional riders and elite horses from around the world. Horses jump a course of fences set up to approximately 1.60 meters (about 5'3") in height, testing speed, agility, accuracy, and athleticism. The $340,000 prize money reflects its prestige and importance on the international calendar, often drawing riders aiming to earn ranking points and major titles.
Together, this data gives you a snapshot of who competed, who was fastest and clearest, and how they performed against the course and each other. The sorted results page makes it easy to see the final standings, which rider/horses succeeded, and any notable times or fault differences between competitors.
Technically, the week before, they had an even bigger competiton ($750,000 1.60m FEI 5* Coachella Cup Grand Prix) however, I didn't realize that that was the cooler competition so I unfortunately created this website for the smaller event.

A jump-off is a shortened, tie-breaking round used in show jumping when multiple riders complete the first round without any faults. The jump-off course has fewer fences and is designed to reward speed and precision. Riders compete one at a time, and the winner is the rider who completes the jump-off clear (no faults) in the fastest time.
Qualification for the jump-off is straightforward: any rider who finishes round 1 with a clear score (0 time/jumping faults for rails, refusals, and time) advances to the jump-off. Riders with faults do not qualify and are ranked based on their penalties and time from the first round.
To note, if a rider advances to the jump-off, their initial round 1 time holds no weight on their ranking since the playing field is reset.

The first 3 highlighted rows (in light cyan) represent the three riders who went "clear" - meaning they accumulated 0 faults - in the jump off. This means that their ranking is solely based on how fast their jump off round was.
To demonstrate this further, I highlighted Daniel Bluman's 4 (jumping) faults in yellow. Since he ended with 4 faults, he unfortuately would be placed below Schott, Vale, and Springsteen despite having a faster jump-off time.
Likewise, Eduardo Pereira De Menezes had 8 (jumping) faults (highlighted in orange) which placed him lower than Mallevaey and Wasserman despite Menezes' faster jump-off time.
This goes to show how critical faults can be to the final rankings.
Note: Some of these horses don't have pictures of them online so I added a default horse silhouette.
